I find it sad that Epic games jumped to buying game exclusivity instead of actually providing a viable alternative to steam. Epic is a titan of the game industry, they created many highly popular games that are major cash cows on top of owning arguably the most successful game engine in the world. If anyone can compete with valve here is should be epic. But instead of building a functional store that provides better features then steam, they made a buggy, laggy mess that they need to give you free games to convince you to use it. People accuse steam of being a monopoly but that is not what that word means, steam isn't popular because valve is shutting down rivals, or in cahoots with the government. Valve has never done anything to get a competitor unfairly removed from the market, the only company in the space that is trying to force competiors out of the market by tossing money around IS epic. Valve has done nothing wrong, they just offer a better service then what anyone else provides. The community features, the steam workshop, etc.

Honestly, the best course of action that they could do is first do a remaster or even a simple port on steam and consoles to see if it has any traction and then they can either do a full remake of outbreak or outbreak 3

the Remakes could have currect and add alot more complexities to the Dead Space trilogy. like think about it, it's not really about difinitive good graphics quality to the dead space games, but retelling the story in a way it it truly makes sense, and add lore to every sequals. take Dead Space 2 remake for a foreseeable future, yes the graphics will be phenomenal, but the story had to make sense and less neclected.

Como fan de europeo de resident evil que pude jugar a ambos outbreaks decirte que los estado unidenses y japoneses tuvisteis mucha suerte, en europa solo llego online la parte 2 y solo estubo operativo ¡1 año! , una verguenza por parte de capcom pero fue de las mejores experiencias que tuve en videojuegos online y lo recuerdo con mucho cariño. En cuanto que haria para mejorar la experiencia del juego ya lo pense muchas veces y se me ocurrio el poder desbloquear personajes de toda la franquicia capcom, con todos superpoderes mediante eventos especiales o haciendo determinados puzzles complejos , seria como un premio jugar con esos personajes tan poderosos, pero para equilibrarlo haria que usar esos personajes hiciera que parte de los enemigos del escenario cambiaran, por ejemplo juegas con Albert wesker y tendrias su ataque especial superfuerza donde Mandas zombie a la estratoesfera de un golpe corporal pero en el escenario hay partes donde una mutacion especial de hunters gama aparecen y estos matan de un toque mas rapido e con mas frecuencia por ejemplo, cambiando radicalmente la dificultad haciendolo totalmente "random" dependiendo la combinación de tu equipo. Para otros personajes habia pensado un traje de beatifull joe para kevin, donde sustituye su pistola por el reloj de beatifull joe y le permite transformarse y usar sus poderes, donde simplemente haria combos de patada y placajes a lo plan "power ranger" de forma muy rapida como si fuera un personaje de "beat 'em ups", pudiendo acabar con hordas de zombis muy rapido pero con la desventaja que su forma de heroe es temporal y tiene que volver a su forma "civil" un rato hasta que el reloj se vuelva a cargar. Otro traje divertido (seria el mas caro del juego en puntos) seria un traje de lino blanco para jim, que cuando usa su habilidad especial en lugar de "jugar a estar muerto" empieza a bailar y los enemigos humanoides (zombies, tyrants, mr x) tambien bailan, en funcion del numero de enemigos o su tipo su infeccion viral sube mas rapido, pero tendria la desventaja que su habilidad no funciona con animales u otros enemigos no humanoides. Asi puedes poner a personajes de la franquicia capcom, ya sea como personaje desbloqueables o trajes especiales para nuestros protsgonistas, pero con la desventaja que cambia radicalmente la dificultad del juego al aparecer enemigos que no son de la franquicia de resident evil o son mas dificiles.

Aiden is such a weird character because I have no idea what the writers were trying to do with him. He’s not badass or awesome enough to be a power fantasy escapist character and he’s not well written or complex enough to make him an interesting one either. He’s stuck in an awkward middle ground where the writers are trying to make him both but he ends up being neither.

im a little late to seeing this video but when i saw someone talking about epic exclusives coming to steam, i wondered what games you were going to talk about and i never thought that someone would bring up the earlier release of satisfactory on epic. i wished that i waited the 1 year and 2 or 3 months to get it on steam instead of epic.

I would simply say a graphical overhaul plus new levels would be all the game would need to properly succeed. Maybe not to MASS appeal. But it would have its market in coop survival horror. Hell maybe they could simply make a file 3 in the same style of RE2Remake in terms of controls, but have a "Missing files" bonus unlock or DLC that is just straight up the original 2 games as an unlock for beating File 3's last level with online working and everything. Yes the gaming market has changed but that doesn't mean you have to change everything. There is a space for older designed games. You can just look at how well RE1 Remake Remaster for PC and modern consoles did, from what I remember it sold extremely well.

Please, don't become like those other tumours who consistently sledgehammer the pacing and feel of their videos with begging for subs, it's grating to sit through. Do it at the end. What Resident Evil really needs is an open world Raccoon City game. Mansion and forest included. A big fully interactive and explorable Raccoon City map. We've heard Capcom brag about redesigning Raccoon City fully for RE 2 and 3 remakes yet we only have very limited access to the city.

The union makes the force. Both games are awesome, but as you said; it needed more of the spice that made Dead Space (and Resident Evil 4) great: the possibility of sweep & clean the halls of the lunar prison with ease.

Kendra meant well, and her actions are understandable. But she was already hallucinating, getting visions of her deceased brother. As you suggested, Kevin, I don't think in the end she would have been able to carry the marker alone and keep her mind intact. I think the right thing to do was to leave the marker on Aegis VII, which is what Isaac did in his brief moment of lucidity. It looks like the marker was destroyed in the end...or maybe not?

If you release your game as an EGS exclusive you're either a scumbag company or have no confidence in your product and take the exclusive deal as a bailout. Even when the game comes to steam later, why would I want to buy it?

I was all for epic having its own store front, if only i did not find out they did exclusivity deals before i found out about there store front (tldr i found out about the epic store the same time i found out about there exclusivity deals which soured my mood for them having a store front).

Your idea about how to combine "Among Us" & "RE Outbreak" is low key genius. What if you weren't informed at the start that you were the traitor due to the memory loss? What if, because people are smart and catch onto gameplay loops there wasn't even a traitor every single match? It would cause an uneasy alliance because you'd never be 100% if you could trust the ones you play the game with.

Help them out. Movie finally coming... Who knows if they'll know what they're doing. I don't have faith in the Movie doing well, but... damn if it could ever be another hit in the leagues of John Wick and Nobody. Matrix in terms of Technological Progress. It truly could be perfect. I do like how they rewrote her personality as more caring but also being dutiful in her mission to ensure Earth was protected against all odds. If they ever come back to this series with a Dead Space 2 remake, we definitely need a positive recall of her actions with Issac (mainly when returning to the Ishimura chapter).
